Nitrous Oxide is a tuning aid just like installing a camshaft, a turbo or supercharger but requires much
less modification to your engine, is much more cost effective and can be removed and installed to another
car unlke any other tuning method. It also has the advantage of no lag and no poor driveability
issues off boost like a turbo and uses no engine power to drive it like a supercharger. When turned off, your
car is as standard and so your fuel economy is not effected.
Nitrous Oxide is not a flammable gas. The only reason it works is the oxygen part of Nitrous Oxide
allows more fuel to be burnt in your engine. It is also worth noting that our nitrous bottles do not
explode, even if your car was on fire. Our nitrous Bottles have a built in pressure relief
valve which releases any excess pressure should the bottle be overheated.
Our systems are made in the UK which means that there's no problem with gas bottles meeting the EU Standards
for refilling
and you are not required by law to have a compressed gas sticker on your car for such small quantities.
It is highly unlikey that a good quality nitrous system (beware of cheap US based systems) will do any damege
to your engine if it is installed and used correctly.
