Performance kits are available for all car makes from Honda, Peugeot, Renualt, Citreon and more. Nitrous Oxide is a tuning aid just like fitting a turbo or supercharger but requires much less modification to your engine and is much more cost effective. It is NOT a dangerous or flammable gas. This is the biggest mis-conception about nitrous, along with 'nitrous will blow your engine'. I could supply or fit a system to your car to dramatically increase it's power for a lot less than you think. N2O is not dangerous! There are plenty of, so called 'experts', some of which are probably people you know and as not many honestly know about NOS they can get away with it. Nitrous Oxide is not a flammable gas. The only reason it works is the oxygen part of Nitrous Oxide allows more fuel to be burnt in your engine. NOS bottles do not explode even if your car was on fire. Bottles have a fail-safe mechanism which will release all the gas if the bottle is overheated (this will certainly make you jump, but it's not an explosion). Highpower systems go further and have developed a pressure relief valve which will release the excess pressure as it builds rather than dumping it completely (so you might hear a hiss). Hello spacemonkey. <br> Whilst we don't guarantee that a customers engine/components will be capable of withstanding the extra power, as long as OUR nitrous system is fitted and used correctly to an engine in good condition without any weaknesses in the original design then there is no need to worry about premature engine wear or failure.
